High-Impact Psoriasis

I recently had the opportunity to do a podcast with the National Psoriasis Foundation on High Impact Psoriasis Sites. This is a really cool opprtunity to talk about a part of Psoriasis that is often ignored and untreated but can have a huge impact on someones quality of life. It had been years since I had Psoriasis in any of these sites until I switched medications two weeks ago and I have to say it is super annoying and the best option I have while waiting for my biologic to hopefully work is loose clothing and vaseline, I have a steroid that is appropriate to use but actually caused more itching go figure. Thank you to NPF and the researchers who are changing the standard of care to prioritize patients suffering with Psoriasis in these sites not just how many plaques you have. Getting access to systemic treatments earlier increases the chances of remission and prevents the disease from progressing especially for those with Psoriatic Arthritis. Don't make us wait until we are at our worst if the treatment is already available and beneficial.
