Today on which chronic condition is the problem, we have:

Condition 1: Psoriatic Arthritis

Condition 2: Psoriasis

Condition 3: Migraines

Condition 4: Allergies

Why am I tired?

  • Mold counts are up

  • I had a migraine yesterday

  • I have Psoriatic disease

  • Not sleeping well

Why do I have a migraine?

  • Hormones

  • Stress

  • Arthritis Flare

  • Lack of sleep

Why is my Psoriatic Disease flared?

  • Stress

  • Hormones

  • Allergies

Notice anything in common? They all feed each other.

This time I THINK it started with an arthritis flare that caused a tension headache that turned into a migraine, followed by taking migraine medicine, which caused my muscles to tighten, which caused more tension and led to the migraine not going away. The migraine is why I am so tired. Dizzy yet?

How did I get relief? I went to the chiropractor, I iced my neck, stretched, hydrated, and rested. Of course, I am still in an arthritis flare and at risk for another migraine, but I will stay hydrated and do what I can to reduce triggers.

What’s the lesson here? Pay attention to what’s happening with your body and reduce triggers where possible. You can’t always stop a migraine or a flare, but you can try, and you can have a plan for where you can’t.
